The terms that apply to corporate relocation assignments commissioned by an employer.
Who contracts
with whom
Corporate relocation services may be commissioned by an employer. The employer is the contracting client and is the party to the agreement with Swiss Support Official. The employee is the recipient of the relocation support and is not a party to that agreement unless separately agreed in writing.
The employer remains the employer throughout. The employment relationship, the employment contract and the onboarding stay with your company. Swiss Support acts as the local relocation partner in Switzerland.
What we do,
and what we do not
Swiss Support Official is a consulting and relocation-support firm. We do not carry out recruitment and we do not provide legal representation. We do not provide tax advice, and we do not represent any party before a court or authority in a legal capacity.
Our involvement begins after the employment relationship between the company and the employee has been established. Our role is to prepare, coordinate and accompany the relocation and the administrative set-up for the employee.
The written proposal
governs
The scope of every assignment is agreed in writing before work begins. The written corporate proposal, once accepted, takes precedence over any description on this website. Pages here are a general presentation of the services and are not an offer, a price list, or a commitment to a particular outcome.
Where this website and an accepted written proposal differ, the proposal applies. Services not listed in the accepted proposal are not part of the assignment unless added in writing.
What is not
ours to decide
Permits are granted or refused by the competent Swiss authorities. Tenancy decisions are made by landlords and their agents. Insurance and banking admissions are decided by the respective providers. Swiss Support prepares the required documentation and coordinates the applicable submission process, and states clearly at every stage what depends on a third party, but does not guarantee an outcome that is not ours to decide.
Swiss Support remains the primary local coordinator. Where specialist third parties are needed, their role is communicated clearly in advance.
Liability, data
and jurisdiction
Swiss Support Official is liable in accordance with Swiss law and the terms of the accepted written proposal. Information on this website is provided for general orientation and may change.
Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Notice. These corporate terms are governed by Swiss law, with place of jurisdiction Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
