Corporate Relocation  /  HR & Employers

Built around
your HR department.

Your team owns the employment relationship. We take over the agreed relocation workload and coordinate the applicable local administrative steps.

The HR case

What changes for your team.

Relocation is operational work with Swiss deadlines attached, and it arrives on the HR desk alongside everything else.

Fewer HR hours per hire

Your team stays on hiring, contracts and onboarding. The relocation execution moves to a local partner.

One point of contact

Your team does not have to coordinate separate providers for permits, housing, insurance and banking. One primary contact person, supported by our team when necessary.

Local execution

We coordinate with the relevant Swiss authorities, landlords and service providers within the agreed scope.

A consistent experience

Every relocation follows a consistent framework adapted to the destination canton.

Visibility per employee

Status updates at a frequency agreed with your team, so you can see where each relocation stands.

Scope agreed in advance

What is included, what is excluded and what depends on a third party, all confirmed in writing.

Working with us

Two ways to
engage us.

Companies relocating one person occasionally and companies relocating several people a year do not need the same arrangement.

Per assignment

One employee, one defined scope, one quotation. Suited to companies hiring internationally from time to time, with no commitment beyond the assignment.

Framework arrangement

An agreed scope, agreed conditions and a standing contact person for companies relocating several employees. Volume discounts apply from five employees, 25% on every package, 35% from ten, and each assignment is then opened without renegotiating the basics. See the scale.

Alignment

Fitted to your relocation policy.

If your company already has an internal relocation policy or a budget ceiling per employee, the assignment is built inside it rather than around it.

  • Scope built around agreed budget ceilings. The amount your policy allocates per employee, or per seniority level, sets what the assignment covers.
  • Seniority tiersDifferent levels of support for different profiles, using the same underlying process.
  • Family provisionsPartner and school orientation included or excluded according to your policy.
  • Onboarding alignmentThe relocation timeline is planned against your start date and onboarding schedule.

The division of roles. Your company remains the employer and holds the employment relationship, the contract and the onboarding. Swiss Support is the local relocation partner: we prepare, coordinate and accompany the move and the administrative set-up for the employee in Switzerland.

Questions from HR

Before you engage a
relocation partner.

Do we need to change anything in our hiring process?

Your recruitment process can remain unchanged. We join after the employment relationship is established and request any additional documents required for the relocation.

Who does the employee contact, us or you?

For relocation matters, the employee contacts their assignment contact at Swiss Support directly. Employment matters stay with your HR department. The boundary is defined in the scope at the start.

How do we know a relocation is on track?

Each assignment has a written timeline, and status updates are provided per employee at the frequency agreed when it starts.

What if a permit or a housing application is refused?

Permits are granted by the competent Swiss authorities and tenancy decisions are made by landlords, so neither outcome is ours to decide, and we say so before an assignment starts. What we do control is the quality of the file: we prepare the required documentation carefully and coordinate the applicable submission process. If something is refused, we look at the stated reason, correct and resubmit where that is open to us, and put the alternatives to you, with housing that normally means returning to the search on an adjusted brief.

Can you support employees already in Switzerland?

Yes. Employees who have already arrived can be taken on for the remaining steps or for ongoing support, with the scope defined around what is still open.
