Corporate
Relocation Services

The full range of services available once your company has hired the employee, grouped by the three phases of a relocation.

Phase one

Before arrival

Many important relocation steps can be prepared before the employee boards the plane. This is where the difference between a smooth start and a difficult one is made.

Relocation coordination

A single plan per employee: scope, responsibilities, deadlines and a written timeline shared with your HR team.

Work and residence permits

Preparation of the required permit documentation and coordination of the submission with the employer, employee and competent authorities, as applicable.

Document preparation

Review of the documents Swiss authorities require, including which need translation, legalisation or an apostille.

Temporary accommodation

Where included in the agreed scope: accommodation for the arrival period, reducing the need to find permanent housing under time pressure.

Home search support

Where included in the agreed scope: a structured search for long-term housing in the agreed area and budget, shortlisting, viewings, applications and the landlord dossier.

Arrival planning

Appointments, sequence and the practical logistics of the first week, prepared and confirmed in advance.

Phase two

Arrival and installation

Time-sensitive steps coordinated around the applicable requirements and deadlines, together with the employee.

Municipal registration

Preparation and accompaniment for registration at the commune of residence, planned around the statutory deadline.

Health insurance

Administrative support with Swiss health-insurance registration or, where applicable, the exemption process.

Bank account

Support with the bank-account application and required documentation; approval remains with the selected bank.

Essential services

Mobile, internet, electricity and the everyday contracts a household needs, where included in the agreed scope.

Lease and handover

Support with the lease-signing process and apartment handover. Deposit account and handover protocol, where included in the agreed scope.

Settling-in support

Orientation in the new place of residence: the practical questions that only appear once someone actually lives there.

Phase three

After the relocation

The assignment does not close on the first working day. Ongoing support reduces routine administrative questions for the employee and HR.

  • A contact that continuesOne primary contact person, supported by our team when necessary. Available during the agreed support period.
  • Administrative follow-upPermit-renewal support, where included in an extended support assignment, address changes and official correspondence in the relevant local language.
  • Family and partner supportPractical orientation for the people who moved with the employee, including school and childcare orientation, where included in the agreed scope.
  • Updates for HRStatus per employee, at a frequency agreed with your team when the assignment starts.

What is not included

Stated openly, so the scope is unambiguous before an assignment starts.

Swiss Support does not provide legal representation, tax advice or immigration decisions, permits are granted by the competent Swiss authorities, and housing decisions are made by landlords and their agents. Our role is to prepare, coordinate and accompany the process, and to state clearly at every stage what depends on a third party.
